This position is responsible for leading a team of data architects and data governance professionals, overseeing the development and governance of data models, and ensuring data standardization and consistency.

Responsibilities

Oversee the development of data models and the data catalog

Ensure data standardization, consistency, and identification of business stewards for each element in the data catalog

Resource planning for all projects including PMO, IT and team initiatives

Daily supervision and technical direction to the team

Develop Data Architecture and Data Governance strategy and roadmaps

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent

5+ years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle and Postgres

2+ years of experience in Data/Information Architecture

Familiarity with Data Governance programs

3+ years of experience supervising technical staff

Demonstrated success in managing large or complex projects

Ability to provide technical leadership and supervise personnel

Preferred

Proficiency in data classification

Experience in developing and maintaining standards and best practices
