In this senior-level role, you will lead the execution of complex projects focusing on turbine control systems and collaborate with team members on power generation related projects.

Responsibilities

Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the technical aspects of engineering projects

Designing and programming both hardware and software systems

Focusing on delivering innovative solutions for power plants

Ensuring high performance and reliability of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems

Contributing to the development of engineering proposals, including defining technical scopes, estimating schedules, and planning resources

Working closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project success through structured processes such as Design Reviews, Program Reviews, and Project Closeout Meetings

Communicating effectively and resolving issues in real time

Required

10-20+ years of experience in turbine controls, electrical, instrumentation, and controls within the power generation sector

Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Steam Turbine Controls, Gas / Liquid Turbine Controls, Burner Management Systems (BMS), Combustion Controls, Balance of Plant

Process expert in combustion or steam turbines

Knowledge of DCS/PLC Systems and programming of DCS/PLC systems

Promotes teamwork by demonstrating effective communication skills and collaboration with peers, management, and the client

Ability and willingness to travel 15-30% locally and domestically

Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated to achieve in budget and on time project success/completion
