Responsibilities
Leading the execution of complex projects that power communities and industries
Focus on turbine control systems and supporting other team members with other power generation related projects
Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the technical aspects of engineering projects
Designing and programming both hardware and software systems
Delivering innovative solutions for power plants
Centering work on instrumentation, control, and electrical systems
Contributing to the development of engineering proposals
Defining technical scopes, estimating schedules, and planning resources
Working closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors
Ensuring project success through structured processes such as Design Reviews, Program Reviews, and Project Closeout Meetings
Communicating effectively and resolving issues in real time
Qualification
Required
10-20+ years of experience in turbine controls, electrical, instrumentation, and power plant controls
Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Steam Turbine Controls, Gas Turbine Controls, Burner Management Systems (BMS), Combustion Controls, Balance of Plant
Process expert in combustion and/or steam turbines
Knowledge of DCS/PLC Systems and programming of DCS/PLC systems
Promotes teamwork by demonstrating effective communication skills and collaboration with peers, management, and the client
Ability and willingness to travel 15-30% locally and domestically
Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated to achieve in budget and on time project success/completion
