Responsibilities

Adherence to mortgage product guidelines

Underwriting & training the underwriting & production staff on special products

Achieve and maintain highest level of regulatory compliance in conjunction with minimal loan defect rates while meeting and exceeding production metrics

Develop, implement, and drive quality standards consistent with company policies and investor guidelines

Manage pipeline and report project timelines and results

Responsible for the review of quality control reports and implement any action plans required

Foster positive attitudes and professionalism by focusing on resolution-based approach to problem solving and identifying best practices, process improvements and mortgage loan system efficiencies

Review, analyze, and determine mortgage loan compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and Rural Development guidelines

Ensure accuracy of all loan documentation

Clearly communicate decisions and the justification behind those decisions to the appropriate parties
