Pasadena Private Lending (PPL) is a non-bank private lender focused on lower middle-market businesses nationwide. They are seeking an Analyst to support both portfolio management and loan origination activities, working closely with the director of credit and the analyst team.

Responsibilities

Assess borrower compliance with loan reporting requirements and financial covenants
Assist with reviewing and processing loan funding requests
Leverage technology to enhance and automate portfolio management processes
Conduct financial analysis, covenant testing, and portfolio stress and sensitivity analysis
Prepare internal credit and portfolio reporting, including data integrity checks and compliance tracking
Participate in credit meetings, borrower site visits, and origination discussions
Maintain internal dashboards and borrower data for real-time portfolio oversight
Writing covenant compliance waivers and analyzing any portfolio loan issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, banking, or capital markets (credit experience preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization or automation tools is a plus
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and fast-paced environment
Interest in the private credit, direct lending, or lower middle-market finance space
