Conducting the hands-on design of various packaging systems within a manufacturing environment
Working with cross discipline teams to support the design, review and implementation of various packaging systems that receive finished goods from the manufacturing line
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in the food and/or beverage industries, preferred
Background in packaging systems and delivery of projects in the food and/or beverage industries
Understanding of feeding/starving and runout of pieces of equipment, and where/when to put in accumulation. Material flows/people flow etc
AutoCAD (2D, 3D CAD experience Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, NX)
Understanding of multi-discipline (electrical, process, PC&IS knowledge)
Great customer relationship skills/management experience
Preferred
5+ years of experience in the food and/or beverage industries, preferred
Machine Design Background, preferred
Preferably on-site, in plant, and startup experience
