Responsibilities

Assist in the development of formal product training infrastructure for internal and external purposes which addresses inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and operational best practices

Assist, supervise, perform testing, and commissioning of equipment to meet internal and customer requirements

Assist and coordinate with Service and Engineering teams to resolve operational service issues

Assist in maintaining good interfaces between local service teams and global engineering teams to ensure 24/7/365 coverage for urgent service on operational issues

Assist in service reporting, failure analysis and investigations, coordination with engineering and reporting to customer Service Quality Management representatives

Assist in Technical Manual production and standardization, Service Bulletins, Information Bulletins

To keep up to date with relevant technology and with the operation of relevant hardware and software within the Product Line

All/any other duties where collaboration is required to maximize NOV CAPS/ISE value with customers

Maintain customer relationships, stay in tune with product feedback and performance through customer’s eyes

Required

High School Diploma or GED required

Valid driver's license

Technical diploma or trade designation as a heavy equipment technician, automotive service technician, rig technician, or millwright an asset

Experience in the operation, assembly, testing, and design and of oilfield service equipment is an asset

Must have at least two years' experience or demonstrate equivalent knowledge in hydraulic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair; mechanics; pump and/or valve assembly, disassembly, or repair; electrical control systems operation and diagnosis; and /or oilfield experience in maintenance and repair of NOV CT/N2 or related systems

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and codes

Ability to work with a diverse group of employees, departments, and customers

Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements

Microsoft Office & Outlook knowledge is required

Mix of indoor and outdoor work, possible exposure to dust, fumes, or gases, and changes in temperature and humidity

Work around or on functioning equipment

Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection as needed as per company and customer HSE policies

May be required to possess valid certifications in first aid, WHIMIS, and H2S or others to visit customer well sites

Must be customer focused

Must be confident speaking about technical subjects in front of a group of internal/external customers

Excellent intercompany and inter-departmental communication skills are essential
