Responsibilities

Provide essential land acquisition and relocation assistance to displacees for federally funded projects throughout the right-of-way project lifecycle in support of the Project Manager (PM) or members of the project team
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Prepare real estate documents and conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
Communicate effectively with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
Perform general administrative/clerical work as required, including preparing legal documents, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, and providing customer service functions
Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints and issues, demonstrating analytical problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and negotiation skills

Required

Minimum of two (2) years of Right of Way experience performing relocations in Ohio
Experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act (URA)
ODOT prequalified in relocation
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Dropbox
Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
English language proficient
Valid Driver's License

Preferred

IRWA R/W-RAC and/or SR/WA certification
