Intern - Purchasing

Continental is a leading tire manufacturer and industry specialist. The Purchasing Intern will support buyers in sourcing across North America and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with ongoing purchasing projects.

Responsibilities

Support buyers in sourcing across North America (USA, Canada and Mexico)
Assist with quotations, equalizations and supplier benchmarking
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, Consulting and Legal) to support ongoing purchasing projects
Vendor master requests
Create and manage purchase orders in SAP
Resolve PO vs. invoice discrepancies
Managing and updating contract tools such as CLM and DocuSign
Executing compliance documents (NDA and BPCoC)

Qualification

Required

Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related degrees
Able to work a minimum of 20+ hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
Minimum sophomore standing or higher
Must have and maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA or higher
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Able to come onsite to our Fort Mill, SC Tire HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)
Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
