Responsibilities

Oversee preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy

Manage the Planful Financial Reporting Consolidation system (Actual, Budget, and Forecast reporting)

Manage corporate accounting processes, including centralized capital tracking

Assist in preparation of the monthly Board deck, including all supporting schedules

Manage the monthly close process, including reconciliations and analyses of related accounts

Provide oversight to the Accounts Receivable function, including weekly reviews of aged accounts and credits

Oversee buying group, rebate, and shelter calculation and payment process in coordination with the Sales team

Manage the annual detailed budget process

Coordinate the company’s annual audit with external auditors

Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls

Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures related to the financial reporting process

Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting

Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and IAS compliance

Communicate accounting issues and evolving guidance to management
