Responsibilities

You will innovate as an equal contributor on teams of world-class engineers to develop, implement, and maintain software for the most complex wireless devices in the industry today
You will leverage your computer science or engineering degree to make an immediate impact on the software development life cycle of one of Qualcomm’s numerous software technologies

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2026 (May–September)
Expected graduation date of November 2026 or later
1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python

Preferred

Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2026 and June 2027
Extensive programming in C/C++
Object-oriented software design and development
Distributed systems and networking protocols
Multi-threaded programming
Multi-core and multi-processor systems
System performance optimization
Experience in complex software debugging
Knowledge of modeling concepts (e.g., discrete event simulation, polyglot programming)
Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., bridging, routing), especially in Linux
