Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer

HireArt is helping an autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer to ensure all assembly, bring-up, and End-of-Line (EOL) testing processes meet the company’s high-quality standards. In this role, you’ll develop and implement in-line and end-of-line quality checks, perform root-cause analysis for production issues, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate quality and functional checks into manufacturing and testing processes
Lead root-cause analysis for assembly-related and EOL issues and implement corrective actions
Develop and optimize PFMEAs, control plans, and EOL processes
Analyze quality data to identify trends and improve manufacturing performance
Collaborate across teams to resolve supplier- or design-related quality concerns
Support quality policy development and ensure compliance with standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9000
Create and maintain documentation to align with quality system requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
8+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering
Proven experience creating and managing FMEAs, control plans, and APQP processes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred

Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
Process improvement certifications (Lean Six Sigma or Shainin)
Experience with CATIA V5/V6
