Maintenance Tech I (3rd Shift, 11pm - 7am)
PAC Worldwide is a manufacturer of packaging materials and automation equipment. The Maintenance Technician I will provide maintenance and training for PAC equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and performing repairs on industrial machinery.

Responsibilities
Work safely and be able to identify potential safety concerns in PAC facilities and coach others on safe work practices
Take initiative to bring unsafe conditions to the attention of the appropriate person or resolve personally
Meet all maintenance related OSHA safety regulations including required safety adherence, required inspections, and facility maintenance
Follow up on various maintenance tasks related to safety as a result of Safety Committee recommendations, inspections or employee suggestions
Maintain all equipment to OEM, OSHA or PAC established safety standards
Train less experienced employees in their essential duties
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed including light building repair
Perform Basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures while following a prescribed program and schedule
Install basic electrical components, such as switches and limits
Fabricate basic items, as needed, for machine repair and improvement
Use basic shop tools to perform all necessary repairs and fabrication
Follow OEM manuals to perform basic setup and repair procedures
Ability to diagnose, repair and find the root cause of basic machine problems that impact quality and productivity
Follow basic outlined inventory control process
Ability to work with supervision to complete assigned work
Other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance environment or some schooling in related fields
Understanding of industrial safe work practices
Understanding of electrical safe work practices
Basic principles of repairs on industrial machinery
Ability to assist with installations and repairs for new and existing equipment using basic shop tools, electrical components and fabricated items
Understanding of VFD and servo motors
Understanding of pneumatics/hydraulics
Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints
Willingness to work independently to solve problems or make repairs to industrial equipment
Ability to identify safety concerns related to OSHA regulations
Ability to maintain all equipment to OEM, OSHA or PAC safety standards
Ability to respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed including light building repair
Ability to perform Basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures while following a prescribed program and schedule
Ability to diagnose, repair and find the root cause of basic machine problems that impact quality and productivity
Valid driver's license (required)
English, oral, and written communication skills (required)
Basic reasoning skills
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Preferred
Technical writing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
CAD experience
