Responsibilities

Review and verify personnel security clearances, incoming and outgoing visit certifications
Administers procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to records and materials
Maintains a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program
Maintains security tasks associated with Classified, Closed and Restricted Areas
Investigates security incidents and prepares reports to submit to CSA personnel
Adheres to required security documentation to include OPSEC plans, CONOPS, SOPs, desktop instructions, and more
Maintains accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s)
Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities

Required

2+ years of Industrial Security or relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 0 years with a Masters; OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
Current Active SECRET with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to work 1st Shift 9/80 or 4/10 schedule

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, or similar data bases
Working knowledge of DoD programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications
Computer and desktop office software products experience
Classification review experience
Self-starter with minimal supervision
