Responsibilities

Leads and designs multiple construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models

Leads and prepares multiple engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data

Leads the analysis of multiple project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs

Creates multiple feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data

Leads the development of multiple construction specifications, plans, and schedules to produce engineering documents

Researches and assists in complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions

Successfully support ongoing Coastal / Water practice through contacts and business development efforts working with EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, NOAA, Local Environmental agencies, as well as private sector clients

Implements scientific and regulatory tasks for projects to ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and policies, including NEPA, Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water Act
