EMH&T is looking for a Civil Engineer, EI to join their Water Resource team. The role involves performing field assessments, assisting in the development of technical proposals, leading client meetings, and supporting quality control reviews.

Perform field assessments and complete the associated technical documentation

Assist with and/or lead the development of technical proposals

Assist with and/or lead client meetings, including development of agendas and managing follow-up work assignments

Support the team by performing quality control reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

Ability to apply engineering knowledge to practical design challenges

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail

Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms

Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work independently after receiving appropriate guidance

Collaborate effectively with team members in a supportive and cooperative environment

Work both independently and also as part of a collaborative team with professionals from other EMH&T practice areas for delivery of an overall project

Preferred

Experience in the field of water resources engineering with a consulting firm or regulating agency

Ability to utilize AutoCAD and GIS in support of site design and to augment stormwater and floodplain management studies, as well as the ability to assist in technical writing to prepare a variety of engineering documents and reports

Exposure to modeling software applications such as HydroCAD and HEC-RAS
