Responsibilities
Design and implement custom multi-layer circuit cards by performing part selection, schematic design, and aiding in layout activities
Maintain component libraries and create new parts for schematic capture
Perform functional test and verification activities for new hardware and aid in production transition and support
Design HDL solutions for the latest Xilinx FPGAs and SoC devices
Perform timing closure and create well constrained, maintainable solutions that are easily extensible and employ an efficient use of resources
Use scripting languages such as Python and Bash to automate and improve workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
3-5 years related professional experience
Understanding of digital and analog circuits
Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog to configure FPGAs and other embedded systems
10% travel
Preferred
Experience testing and validating analog and digital hardware using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc
Experience with modern Xilinx FPGAs and the Vivado design environment
Experience with Communication and Sensor systems, Digital Signal Processing, Software Defined Radios, and RF System Design
Experience with Matlab, Python, Linux
