1+ years expOne River School of Art & Design is looking for a part-time Art Center Coordinator to work at their front desk. The role involves assisting with administrative duties, engaging with students and parents, and supporting various events and marketing efforts.
Education
Responsibilities
Answer phones, meet and greet students and parents at the front desk
Make outgoing phone calls to follow up on leads and online inquiries
In the Summer will document classroom activity and upload photos in to Padlet (training given)
Assist with any administrative duties that are required
Assist with Student Art Show hanging
Assist with Student Art Show reception preparation
Help run Birthday party events
Attend offsite events
Assist with marketing by distributing rack cards in the community
Qualification
Required
Thoughtful communication skills
Detail oriented, self-starter, well organized, able to organize set weekly priorities and goals for assigned tasks
Some weekend availability required
1+ year's customer service experience
A demonstrated interest in visual arts (studying visual arts in college or taking fine art classes etc.)
Preferred
1+ year's previous admin experience, preferred but not required
Familiar with G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
Familiar with Graphic Design, but not required (i.e Canva, Adobe Photoshop etc.)
Familiar with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and local Westchester Blogs
Any interest or experience in art education or museum education
