TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their Global Monetization Product and Technology teams. The intern will participate in the development of large-scale Ads systems and work on key targeting components in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem.

Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system

Responsible for the development of state-of-the-art software engineering projects

Own key targeting components or strategies in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem

Work with product and business teams on product vision

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Go, C/C++, Python, and Java

Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way

Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms

Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty)

Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
