They are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead and manage architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring high-quality work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors

Coordinate and integrate work across disciplines to ensure design intent and project goals are met

Direct the development of construction documents in Revit

Prepare and review project deliverables, ensuring quality control and compliance with applicable codes and standards

Oversee and support junior architectural staff with guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise

Conduct site visits, field measurements, and construction observation

Respond to RFIs and submittals, review shop drawings during the construction phase

Participate in permitting processes, consultant coordination, and preparation of project manuals/specifications

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program

8+ years of professional architectural experience with demonstrated project management responsibilities

Strong working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and standards

Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Registered architect in Florida required

Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Local to the Pensacola, FL area or willing to relocate

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits as needed

Preferred

Licensure in Florida is preferred; candidates who are eligible to obtain Florida licensure will be considered
