Zarach Logistics is an International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker specializing in logistics. They are seeking an Export Specialist for Air & Ocean shipments responsible for managing the shipment lifecycle and ensuring timely delivery and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

Coordinate air and ocean shipments from beginning to end, ensuring the on-time delivery of cargo

Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to international bookings and process all export documentation to clearing agents to include: (HAWB, MAWB, AES's, Manifest, Shipping Instructions, Haz Cargo Decl., Bill of Ladings, and Certificate of Origin, etc.)

Consistently update clients with the status of their shipments

Working with and interacting with clients, carriers, and warehouses to resolve issues as they occur with shipments

Ensuring timely updates of shipment details and updating the transportation system in a timely manner with proper and pertinent information while meeting deadlines

Correct and timely billing of clients’ shipments for the services provided

Maintain Operational Excellence

Promote a positive working relationship for all team members

Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping

Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally

Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers, Agents, and Outside Vendors

Execute/Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements

Collaborate, develop, and build relationships with international transportation carriers and agent representatives regarding air, ocean, import, and export products

Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents

Coordinate the routing of export bookings with ocean carriers and airlines

Dispatch pick-ups to authorized agents and drayage companies, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, clearing agents, warehouses, and all other parties involved in the shipment
