Responsibilities
Oversee laboratory operations and team performance; ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards
Supervise personnel functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Resolve complex immunohematology and compatibility issues to ensure the safest blood for patients
Qualification
Required
National certification as MT/CLS/MLS with ASCP, AAB or AMT, including immunohematology
Supervisor license issued by the state of Florida; or eligible to apply for one
Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, or Biological Science
Familiarity with blood banking
Preferred
SBB(ASCP) or BB(ASCP) certification
