Responsibilities
Work within multi-discipline team to develop projects delivered through Alternative Delivery contracts
Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on complex matters
Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in Open Roads Designer
Approach tasks with a project mindset, to include coordination with other disciplines throughout the duration of the project; propose innovative solutions to design problems
May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, ensuring adherence to project criteria
Prepare engineering reports and plans for review
Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings; attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports
Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals
Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE)
Years of Experience: 6+ years
