Qualification

Registered Diagnostic Medical SonographerFormal training in ultrasoundBasic Life Support (BLS) CPRHigh-risk obstetrics experiencePatient care skillsTechnical skillsProcedureProtocol appreciationNuchal Translucency Quality Review credentialFetal Echo certification

Required

Formal training in ultrasound
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card

Preferred

Two (2) years sonographer experience in high-risk obstetrics, capable of performing scans per American Institute of Ultrasound (AIUM) standards, recognizing normal and abnormal fetal anatomy
Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) credentialed or Fetal Echo certified
