Responsibilities
Underwrite personal lines Property & Casualty products for high-net-worth individuals
Manage a book consisting of large accounts and complex risks for partner brokers
Evaluate submissions, assess exposures, and ensure compatibility with risk appetite while maintaining underwriting discipline
Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships through negotiation, communication, and independent sales calls
Collaborate with internal partners to drive growth, profitability, and portfolio strategy
Document underwriting files and recommend enhancements to guidelines and workflows
Participate in underwriting and marketing projects aimed at improving results and expanding the book of business
Strictly adhere to authority statements and underwriting guidelines
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in personal lines underwriting is required
This role is only open to candidates located in MA, CT, RI, NH, ME, or VT
