Physician, Internal Medicine Core Faculty (Modesto, CA)
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Core Faculty physician to join their growing multi-specialty group. The role involves serving as core faculty for a recently accredited Internal Medicine residency program, with responsibilities including outpatient Internal Medicine, resident teaching, and potentially inpatient work.

Responsibilities
Serve as core faculty for recently accredited IM residency program
Demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents
Devote sufficient time to the Residency Program to fulfill their supervisory and teaching responsibilities
Pursue faculty development at least annually to enhance skills in education, quality improvement, patient safety, physician well-being, and patient care
Maintain a working knowledge of the most up-to-date program specific requirements
Include current licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment
Include ongoing clinical activity
Demonstrate ongoing academic achievements in the specialty, including publications, development of educational programs, or conduct of research
Be licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
Assist the site lead with resident continuity clinic operations
Core faculty members must be designated by the Program Director
Qualification
Required
Must have and maintain current certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents
Devote sufficient time to the Residency Program to fulfill their supervisory and teaching responsibilities
Pursues faculty development at least annually to enhance their skills in the areas of education, quality improvement and patient safety, physician well-being, and patient care based on their practice-based learning and improvement efforts
Maintain a working knowledge of the most up-to-date program specific requirements
Include current licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment
Include ongoing clinical activity
Must demonstrate ongoing academic achievements in the specialty, including publications, the development of educational programs, or the conduct of research
Be licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
Have faculty experience, leadership, organizational, and administrative qualifications
Assist the site lead with resident continuity clinic operations
Core faculty members must be designated by the Program Director
