Responsibilities
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
Ensures software standards are met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience; 3+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Bachelor's degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Must have current Top Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application
Experience developing in Java
Experience with software design and architecture
Experience with software unit testing
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Microservice architecture and Object Orientated Design
Preferred
Experience with Keyclock
Experience with NodeJS Framework
Experience as a front end GUI Designer and UI Implementation
Experience with Mongo DB
Experience with agile development
