Postdoctoral Fellow - Kaushansky Lab

Responsibilities

Investigate host-parasite interactions of the malaria-causing parasite Plasmodium
Ask fundamental biological questions about host parasite interactions in the liver
Examine how the cell death pathways engaged in the hepatocyte inform subsequent immune responses

Qualification

PhD/DVM/MDBasic research techniquesPediatric researchProtocol developmentGrant writing

Required

Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university training program
Experience using basic research techniques of specialty area

Preferred

Previous experience conducting research in the pediatric arena
Experience in protocol and manuscript development and in grant writing
