They are seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Graphic Artist to prepare files for print and ensure high-quality artwork while maintaining communication between sales and production teams.

Responsibilities
Take files and clean them up so they are ready to print on our digital presses
Learn all our software that helps get files prepared to go to the Indigos
Help set up new software when they are purchased
Produce high-quality artwork that adheres to our brand and company identity guidelines
Deliver artwork for a wide array of communications material, including advertising, branding, and marketing projects
Adapt designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders
Create print-ready artwork for various teams
Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts that are innovative and compelling
Refine images, fonts, and layouts using graphic design software
Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
Review junior designers’ work to ensure high quality
Liaise with marketing, sales, and creative teams to meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
Proven experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role
Proficient in image editing software like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Strong aesthetic skills, attention to visual details, and ability to meet deadlines
BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a relevant field, such as Adobe Suite
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Proficient in design software (i.e. InDesign)
Proficient in Excel Spreadsheets
Ability to work with a range of media and graphic design software
Problem-solving abilities and higher-level thinking
Patience with others
Must know how to use Illustrator
