Industrial Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize manufacturing process flows to enhance productivity and quality while minimizing costs
Model and evaluate production touch times, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
Assess equipment capacity needs and manage the scheduling of equipment moves to support product line transfers
Design and implement strategic floor space planning for optimizing equipment layout and manufacturing flow
Lead initiatives through robust change control processes, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to industry standards
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including design, supply chain, and manufacturing to drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with ISO and TL9000 certifications while fostering a culture of quality and safety
Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices and LEAN methodologies across the team
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of manufacturing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
SAP ERP experience
AutoCAD experience
Familiarity with SQL and statistical processing software
Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices
