Responsibilities
Originate and manage residential mortgage loans in compliance with state and federal regulations
Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners
Assess client financial profiles to recommend suitable loan products and solutions
Collect, review, and submit all required documentation for underwriting and processing
Stay up to date on mortgage products, lending guidelines, and market trends
Manage loan pipelines to ensure timely communication and closings
Deliver an exceptional client experience through transparent communication and personalized service
Qualification
Required
Active NMLS license and eligibility to originate loans in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services
Proven record of meeting or exceeding production goals
Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
Experience with mortgage origination software (e.g., Encompass)
Established referral network in North Carolina real estate markets
