Responsibilities
Understand business needs and convert them into technical specifications
Communicate with Senior Management
Develop and design Java batch processes
Coordinate with offshore leads to ensure all deadlines are met
Work with the team as a process-oriented lead and adhere to the organization’s product development standards
Advise on Design for Optimized Data Access
Work with other development groups to understand/gain access to the new Field Desktop
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in development
Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming concepts and design
Good understanding and experience in Java and JavaScript technologies
Interactive filtering via visualization
Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills
Excellent communication and written skills and willingness to work across time zones
Client-side JavaScript technologies including AngularJS and JQuery
SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs
Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency
Understanding of agentic AI concepts such as planning, memory, tool use, and autonomy (experience with frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI Functions, etc., is a plus)
Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation of LLMs or generative models
Critical thinker and problem solver who has a strong base in web technologies and design concepts
Experience with performance testing and improvement
Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions
Preferred
Exposure to the financial services industry
Hands-on experience with large language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, PaLM), transformers, and/or generative models
