Responsibilities
Set up and operate vertical milling machines for high-accuracy metalwork
Handle milling, drilling, boring, tapping, and reaming operations
Secure workpieces, set up tools, adjust feeds and speeds, and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
7+ years of Machinist experience, Acer or Bridgeport milling equipment is a plus
Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures
Able to read blueprints and set up equipment accordingly
