They are seeking an Accounting Manager Assistant Controller to support accounting management, establish internal controls, and oversee general ledger activities while ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, reporting etc.)
Establishing and maintaining internal controls
Managing all aspects of the general ledger
Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses
Helping in development of reports for management; coordinating or assisting with the budget process
Analyzing and reporting cost variances
Supervising accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting activities
Assisting in the formulation of internal controls and policies
Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records

Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Manufacturing)
Well-organized with ability to prioritize
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Preferred

College degree in accounting or business administration
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
