Responsibilities
Coordinate a developmentally appropriate creative curriculum
Create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
Effectively communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and concerns
Maintain a safe and clean classroom, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive educational program
Attend training sessions to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Qualification
Required
Child Development Associate (CDA) certification (valid in PA & unexpired) or a degree in Early Childhood Education is required
A minimum of 2 years of childcare experience in a classroom setting is required
A positive attitude, patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children are a must!
Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
Climb and descend stairs
Move and exercise with the children
Stand for long periods
Pass a health screening
