Principal Software Engineer - Mobile Applications
PepsiCo is building the next generation of mobile applications to enhance digital capabilities for their frontline employees. The Principal Software Engineer will lead the design and development of high-performing mobile apps, mentor engineers, and drive the integration of new digital tools.

Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and hands-on development of mobile apps using React Native
Partner with product managers, UX designers, and cloud engineers to deliver global solutions
Establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making across the team
Explore and Adopt tools such as AI copilots and agents to streamline development and boost productivity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
8+ years in software engineering, with experience building large-scale mobile applications
3+ years hands-on with React Native (TypeScript/JavaScript)
Strong knowledge of iOS/Android app development, APIs, and app store workflows
Experience leading projects or mentoring teams
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce
Experience with Azure
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with consumer apps at scale
Benefits
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually
