Responsibilities
Design and detail structural systems for high-end custom homes—wood, steel, concrete, and specialty framing systems
Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and owners to bring creative architectural visions to life
Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations to the highest standard of accuracy and clarity
Perform construction observations, field coordination, and on-site evaluations
Contribute to concept design sessions and help guide projects from schematic design through construction
Mentor younger staff, share technical insights, and grow into a leadership role within Anthem’s high-end residential practice
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of experience in structural design (custom residential experience preferred)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (RISA, RAM, Revit Structure, Bluebeam)
Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects, contractors, and clients
Strong sense of design and attention to architectural detail
Preferred
Experience with hillside sites, complex framing, or mountain environments a plus
