Responsibilities
Apply state of art natural language processing and computer vision research to video centric digital media
Create a strong environment for applied science in order to recruit, retain and develop top talent
Lead a team of applied scientist and lead the research direction
Create roadmaps for forward-looking research and communicate them to senior leadership
Hire and develop the applied scientist and grow the science team to meet the always increasing needs of our customers
Qualification
Required
3+ years of building models for business application experience
PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
Preferred
Experience using Unix/Linux
Experience in professional software development
