Responsibilities

Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment
Performs nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques producing images for interpretation
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics
Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure

Required

A.S. in Radiography or Diploma in Radiography from an AMA approved school with additional year of Nuclear Medicine training or A.S./B.S. in Nuclear Medicine
ARRT (N), or CNMT
RI State License
CPR Required
Prior experience preferred in performing nuclear medicine exams
Anatomy & Physiology
NRC Rules & Regulations
Computer skills
IV injection of radionuclide
Manage patient during Nuclear medicine Ultrasound exam
Proper Quality assurance
Maintain information confidential (HIPAA)
Demonstrated customer service skills
Ability to utilize responsive customer service skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers
Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams
Visual acuity and hand dexterity
Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching
Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 30 lbs
