Entry, Mid LevelNitro is seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage the negotiation and purchase of services, materials, and equipment to meet organizational needs while optimizing costs. The role involves developing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with internal regulations, and improving procurement processes.

Responsibilities
Analyze service, material, indirects and equipment requests to ensure alignment with operational needs
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms while balancing cost, quality, and lead time
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, identifying and qualifying new vendors to enhance supply chain resilience
Ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures and industry regulations
Execute routine and urgent purchases, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications
Obtain and analyze technical and commercial proposals, preparing RFQs and cost comparisons
Engage suppliers to clarify contract terms, including payment conditions, warranties, penalties, and tax implications
Monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery, proactively addressing delays and discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Planning, Maintenance, Engineering) to resolve supplier issues and technical divergences
Manage returns and corrective actions for non-conforming materials, minimizing operational disruptions
Maintain procurement records and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize purchasing strategies
Analyze purchasing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Engage with internal stakeholders to anticipate procurement needs and contribute to strategic sourcing decisions
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations (PPE, 5S principles), and industry best practices
Proactively seek opportunities for efficiency improvements in procurement processes
Support other supply chain-related initiatives as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, International Affairs, etc
B2B feedstock purchasing, preferably for Chemical or Pharmaceutical companies
Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and Power Point
