Associate Director of Disability and Learning Services
Penn State University is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Associate Director of Disability and Learning Services. This position is responsible for supervising staff and ensuring access to learning support programs while coordinating academic accommodations and enhancing student engagement through various services.

Responsibilities
Supervising campus staff and student employees who support student success through ensuring access to learning support programs and services
Coordinating implementation of academic accommodations and learning support services
Working with students on understanding perspectives on their disabilities
Assessing functional limitations
Reviewing past accommodations
Identifying additional support needs
Collaborating with faculty and staff to implement accommodations while maintaining academic integrity
Conducting follow-up meetings and referring students to campus and community resources
Maintaining accurate records and promoting disability awareness through presentations and outreach
Leading the development and implementation programs and services that enhance student learning and campus engagement
Supporting student academic success through the management and oversight of tutoring and learning support services
Assessing program effectiveness
Supporting service opportunities
Fostering partnerships with campus academic programs and faculty
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree
6+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Master's Degree in higher education, counseling, student affairs, or a related field, along with experience in disability services and/or student engagement
Strong knowledge of ADA and Section 504
Excellent communication and organizational skills
PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
