Test Engineer I

Responsibilities
Plan, develop and execute radiation tests on electrical components and systems
Design and develop component test hardware/software for various radiation environments
Develop and execute test plans and procedures for radiation characterization and radiation lot acceptance tests
Analyze and interpret radiation test data
Conduct functional, performance, and qualification testing
Develop and execute detailed test schedules
Prepare radiation test & analysis reports
Prepare and present radiation results and achieve customer approvals
Experience working in radiation environments, radiation facilities, and dosimetry systems to include prompt dose, total dose, neutron, proton, and heavy ion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability
Qualification
Required
Determine the effects of radiation environments on various components and systems
Collect radiation test data and verify component behavior in a variety of radiation environments
Analyze and interpret test data
Participate on teams that resolve technical issues
Close interfacing with customers, fellow radiation effects systems engineers and designers
Plan, develop and execute radiation tests on electrical components and systems
Design and develop component test hardware/software for various radiation environments
Develop and execute test plans and procedures for radiation characterization and radiation lot acceptance tests
