Sensor Analysis Manager

The Sensor Analysis Manager will lead a team of analysts in evaluating Radar/Guidance system performance data and producing system assessments to support the Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense mission.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the radar(s) including requirements and operations, focusing on radar search, track, electronic counter measures, discrimination and missile guidance functions
Define metrics, analyze data, and assess system performance
Provide direct support to the Warfighter by responding to Requests for Information including analyzing Real-World data and collaborating with the team to provide recommendations for enhanced performance
Support test events (Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises) by defining requirements and objectives, observing/executing tests, analyzing test data, and contributing to test reports
Prepare and present briefings to various audiences, including USG, Warfighters, and high levels of leadership
Review and track software changes and system requirements
Provide technical and task guidance to a team of Radar/Guidance analysts
May participate in the development of technical proposals for new and/or existing business opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field
7-15 years of experience in Radar or Guidance analysis for a Missile Defense System
Demonstrable understanding of Radar signal and data processing methods
Ability to travel up to 15%
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred

Proficiency in a high-level programming language (MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.)
Demonstrable leadership and management skills
Advanced degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field
Experience in interface analysis for a major Missile Defense System, including Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises, Real-World data
