Estate Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to hire an Estate Administration Paralegal to support attorneys in trust and estate matters. The role involves assisting with estate and trust administration, preparing legal documents, and maintaining organized records while working in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with the administration of estates and trusts including probate filings, asset inventories, and accountings
Prepare legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, waivers, and correspondence
Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and government agencies to gather and verify information
Track deadlines and manage calendars related to estate and trust matters
Maintain organized files and records in compliance with firm and court requirements
Support attorneys with tax documents, distributions, and fiduciary obligations
Conduct legal research related to estate planning and probate procedures
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years experience as a paralegal in estate administration within a law firm
Strong knowledge of probate procedures, estate planning documents, and fiduciary responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working directly with clients and handling confidential information
