Vensure Employer Solutions is a small growing CPA firm that values quality work and strong client relationships. They are seeking a Firm Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage client interactions, and ensure smooth project execution while handling billing and accounts management.

Responsibilities

Manage daily firm and client needs, act a key person to ensure everything runs smoothly and effectively for the firm
Act as a main point of contact for clients—professional, prompt, and approachable
Handle administrative tasks like assembling tax returns, managing client files, scanning/uploading, and taking care of incoming/outgoing phone calls and mail
Manage new client set up, tax return E-filing and rejections, and due date reports
Be in charge of ordering supplies and be the key person between the firm and various vendors
Take charge of billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable to keep cash flow on track
Keep projects moving: track deadlines, follow up with staff, and help prioritize firm projects
Oversee firm technology and tools (tax software, portals, workflow apps)
Support partners with firm initiatives and process improvements
Create custom reports and dashboard in software to streamline monthly reporting

Required

Experience in a CPA firm is required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable prioritizing admin work, people management, billing, and client communication
Tech-friendly and eager to learn new systems, create custom reports, lead new AI initiatives
A natural problem-solver who can keep things moving without a lot of handholding
Able to work overtime during tax season

Preferred

Prior bookkeeping or tax experience is a plus
