Responsibilities

Troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment
Performing system and circuit level analysis
Subsystem integration and test
Supporting failure investigations
Maintaining and creating documentation
Interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers
Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels
Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
Performing analog and digital circuit analysis and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronics subsystems in simulation
Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates
Conducting integration & test at the subassembly level
Develop interconnect models between various subsystems
Generate test procedures/plans and document test results
Generate and present task results to small technical teams
Ability to work in either a team or individually
Potential travel to test areas for support/troubleshooting issues, less than 10%
Able to lift 15 lbs

Required

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and FRACAS processes
Knowledge and experience with Material Review Board, Process Configuration Board, Configuration Control Board and Failure Review Board processes, proposing/defending and implementing Change Notices
Experience with test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control
Experience with writing and/or executing test procedures
Integration and test of electrical hardware/subsystems
