Responsibilities
Manage scope, schedule, staffing, and budget for environmental remediation projects, both large and small scale
Responsible for client and regulatory correspondence and interactions
Lead teams to evaluate data to support conceptual site models for environmental investigations
Delineate the nature and extent of contamination, evaluate, and implement remedial alternatives, and modify/optimize remediation and monitoring programs
Strong writing skills are required as this role is responsible for technical report reviewing and writing
Oversee and participate in people management within the Area, including hiring, onboarding, performance management and terminations, and meet with Region and Area leadership periodically for Regional strategy and business development meetings
Make compensation recommendations to the Area Leader on leadership opportunities, staff promotions, quarterly market adjustments, merit increases, and spot bonus
Work with stakeholders on workload leveling across the Area, including identifying staff for project opportunities and the need for external hiring
Train, coach, and mentor staff on consulting best practices and motivate staff to achieve business growth goals
The ability to support and implement company priorities such as GEC usage, MEPC, Digital offerings, and sustainability
Be a visible steward of Health & Safety by completing required stewardship goals and being a strong mentor and example for H&S
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting
Previous project management experience
