IT System Support Administrator

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking an IT System Support Administrator to provide Helpdesk support and ensure operational efficiency across all facilities. The role involves installing IT hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and training users on various technologies, while requiring up to 75% regional travel.

Responsibilities

Installs IT hardware and software as directed by IT Director
Responsible for voice Support
Video Surveillance Administration
Network Administration and Server Support
Identifies and resolves IT related hardware issues
Performs Help Desk function by answering, documenting, resolving, escalating and prioritizing tickets
Setup and Install Telecom and mobile devices: VoIP phones, Cell Phones, MDM, tablets/iPads, etc…
Performs basic network hardware and structured cabling installation and troubleshooting
Document all application process, procedures, configuration, and change management
Active Directory and Application User management and roles
Trains users on use of hardware and software including, but not limited to applications, servers, storage and networking equipment
Hardware and Application Support and route issues to the proper vendor
Utilize Root-Cause analysis to solve issues
Communicates with facilities and IT Director the status of projects and issues
Assists IT Director to develop strategies for future IT needs
Up to 75% regional travel required to facilities as needed
Maintains confidentiality as it relates to company information and data
Other duties as assigned

Required

3-5 years of work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties
General knowledge of hosted application management and support
Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365 Email and Office applications, IT Help Desk ticketing software, PCs, laptops, IoT, MDM, Cell Phones, Printers, handhelds devices
Network troubleshooting – TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Meraki
Experience installing and troubleshooting Structured cabling
Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record for regional travel
Highly self-motivated and works well in teams and under minimal supervision
Ability to meet all health, compliance, and competency requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Has successfully completed state required background and drug check

Preferred

Azure Administration
Social Media and Website management and maintenance in a medium size company environment
Experience and/or Education in transportation field
SharePoint Development
