Operations Integration Analyst

The Operations Integration Analyst will partner with the VP Integrations and Client Management to onboard newly acquired insurance portfolios, conduct operational due diligence, and offer ongoing operational support to local Heads of Operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support the operational onboarding of new insurance portfolios acquired through M&A
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Claims, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations) to ensure smooth transition of business processes
Partner with Change Team to provide guidance and support across the business requirements
Develop and maintain onboarding checklists, workflows, and playbooks to standardize integration efforts
Identify and mitigate operational risks during the integration process
Anticipate and resolve issues that arise through the Integration life-cycle
Partner with M&A, Finance, and Operations teams to assess the operational capabilities and risks of target acquisitions
Review and analyze operational structures, systems, and processes of target companies
Provide input on potential integration challenges and recommend solutions
Document and present findings to senior leadership and deal teams
Provide ad hoc operational support, including process improvement, issue resolution, and reporting
Monitor operational performance metrics and escalate concerns when necessary
Assist in implementing best practices and standard operating procedures across business units

Detailed understanding of Contractual requirement within deal documentation
Experience with the insurance industry required

Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in technology especially Microsoft Office applications
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across functions and regions
Insurance Experience
Experience with Integration/Acquisitions of new business
Experience in Insurance Operations
Demonstrated experience as a successful influential leader across matrix teams
Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner to executives
Ability to adapt communication style to interact effectively with a wide range of counterparts
Accuracy and attention to detail is key
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, managing competing demands, and remaining composed in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential
Demonstrated experience in M&A integrations and/or due diligence highly desirable
