Hoar Construction is seeking qualified applicants for their Internship Program at RPI Rentals for the Summer 2026 term. This internship provides exposure to estimating, project management, and the field within the construction industry, while requiring students to coordinate equipment rentals and assist with vendor billing and customer invoicing.

Responsibilities

Gaining an understanding of the construction process and the equipment and services needed in the construction process

Coordinate equipment rentals and labor services with customers and vendors

Participate in tower crane and hoist coordination and engineering

Prepare quotes / estimates to submit to customers

Assist in managing vendor billing and customer invoicing

Required

Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or Supply Chain Management

Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Must maintain a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA

Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the semester

Completed college freshman year

Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry upon graduation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Valid Driver's License
